Teacher Resources

The Park City Museum has first class exhibits that tell the story of our town’s history. Teachers may visit the exhibits to learn more or visit the Hal Compton Research Library to explore our research materials. Curriculum Guides & Lesson Plans

The Park City Museum Education Department offers teacher resources to aid educators in the classroom and other educational environments. We offer full curriculum guides for Elementary and 8th grade science. We also offer lesson plans tailored to our permanent programs and changing gallery programs.

Tozer Gallery Lesson Plans: The Tozer Gallery features a rotating exhibit every 2-5 months. Please check our School Programs page for the latest exhibit offering and lesson plans.

Traveling Trunks

Can’t come to the Museum for a field trip? Bring the Museum to your class! Our traveling trunks are available for check out and each trunk includes lesson plans, activities, and objects. We have traveling trunks for the following:

    • 2nd Grade Traveling Trunk
    • 8th Grade Traveling Trunk

Transportation Stipends

Complimentary Museum Membership for Local Teachers

All local teachers in Summit and Wasatch County may receive a free individual membership to the museum. Call 435-649-7457 ext 102 or email education@parkcityhistory.org  to sign up for your teacher membership.
