On a guided hike with Hal

Each summer, historians leads members-only hikes in the mountains around Park City. Hikes visit historic mine sites, presenting the history of the mines and comparing historical photos to the present sites. Past hikes have included the John the Revelator, Wolverine, Jupiter, California Comstock Mines, and the Silver King Mine and Mill.
Hikes begin in the morning and members must bring their own water, lunch, and a good pair of hiking boots. These hikes are not for the faint-of-heart because of the high elevation. Space is limited, and reservations should be made early by calling the Museum office at 435-649-7457. For upcoming hikes, please refer to the Calendar of Events.
