Education & Collections Center

FROM GOWNS TO STAGECOACHES: Beyond the Park City Museum’s exhibitions lies the nation’s most comprehensive collection of Park City history. Similar to most museums, only a percentage of our collections can be displayed at any given time. Some items are even too fragile to ever be displayed. The new building is designed to accommodate our growing historic collections and preserve them in perpetuity while providing a high quality environment with the ample curatorial and support spaces.

LIVELY LECTURES: The Park City Museum supplies a steady menu of first rate educational programs. Through these public programs, we explore how stories bring history alive and help us understand not only the past but who we are today. Our engaging formats include panel discussions, live public radio broadcasts, performances by musicians, and captivating lectures by historians, authors, and curators. The new building now provides larger spaces for lectures, conservation workshops and other educational opportunities.
