Park City Museum will host a lecture called A History of Park City’s Railroads given by Steve Leatham and David Nicholas on Thursday, March 5th from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Park City Museum Education and Collections Center located at 2079 Sidewinder Drive. A small reception will follow. R.S.V.P. is needed for this event.  Please contact Diane Knispel with questions 435-649-7457 ext. 102.
The lecture is divided into two parts. The first discusses the Pacific Railroad Act and its impact on Park City. The second focuses on the rail infrastructure in town including firsthand accounts of trains serving the community for 96 years.

Park City Museum will host A World Transformed: The Transcontinental Railroad and Utah exhibition created by The Merrill-Cazier Library at Utah State University and the Utah Division of State History to celebrate the sesquicentennial of the completion of the Transcontinental Railroad.   The exhibit will be on display from February 10th to March 15th.
