On a dark and stormy night 76 years ago in the early morning hours of Monday, November 17, 1941 a B-18 bomber crashed into Iron Mountain. This event is the only fatal airplane accident in Park City’s history. In honor of Veteran’s Day – on Wed 11/8 at 5pm the Park City Museum located at 528 Main Street will host a lecture regarding this crash. Steve Leatham and David Nicholas will share the findings of their research concerning the fate of this plane, its crew, the final minutes before impact and its connection to Pearl Harbor.
