Join us for a lecture on the history of Park City’s High Line and the industrial complex it once served. Steve Leatham and David Nicholas will team up once again to explore this vital link to our town’s mining heritage. The railroad spur ran from the Union Pacific Depot to the Ontario Mill and Judge Loading Station. Photographs (past and present), maps, charts and diagrams will return us to a time when the mining industry defined the local economy. Hear tales of John J Daly and R.C. Chambers and brickmeier C.M. Groves. Due to Covid restrictions attendance will be limited to 20 people and reservations are required. Rick Klein, of Park City Follies fame, will film the presentation for virtual viewing.
