On November 17, 1941 a B-18 bomber crashed into Iron Mountain. Most of the crew was able to escape. This event is the subject of a lecture on Sunday night, 5 p.m., at our Education and Collections building on 2079 Sidewinder Drive. The lecture will be given by Steve Leatham and is open to everyone.
Also join us on Monday morning for a for a historic plaque unveiling at 10 a.m. The plaque will commemorate the servicemen in the B-18 that night.
