"Remember the Ladies: The Fight for Women's Rights" lecture presented by Dr. Martha Bradley-Evans on Tuesday, December 10th from 5-6 p.m. at the Park City Museum Education & Collections Center, 2079 Sidewinder Drive.

2020 marks the 100^th anniversary of the 19^th Amendment to the Constitution allowing women to vote. Initially introduced to Congress in 1878, several attempts to pass a women's suffrage amendment failed until 1919. Dr. Bradley-Evans, Associate Vice President Academic Affairs at the University of Utah, will examine local efforts from the 1910s to the modern battle over the Equal Rights Amendment.
