Yes. With at least 24 hours' notice, our Executive Director will be happy to show you the event spaces and discuss your individual needs. Appointments can be made Monday - Thursday from 10 am – 5 pm. Special arrangements may be made, based on availability. Contact the Executive Director at mpierce@parkcitymuseum.org or call 435-216-9787 to schedule an appointment.
When you are ready to book your date, our Executive Director will email a contract for your review. A signed contract and deposit (equal to half the rental fee) is required to book the date. This deposit is non-refundable.
Gallery access is not included with your rental. However, for an additional fee, we can provide unlimited guest access to the galleries for the duration of your event. Please note, food and drink are not permitted in the galleries.
Evening events may not begin earlier than 5 pm, with guest departure no later than 10 pm. An additional security fee may be required. Morning and afternoon event reservations are subject to approval. Please contact the Executive Director at mpierce@parkcitymuseum.com or call 435-216-9787 to discuss your daytime request.
A one-hour set-up window is included with your rental fee. Access for set up in your rental space depends on the start time indicated in your contract. A half-hour tear-down window is included in your rental fee.
A selection of in-house event furnishings are included in your rental fee:
- 20 chairs
- 4 - 30" x 60" banquet tables
- A/V projector and screen (at the ECC only)
- Custodial service
We are not able to provide the following:
- Food and beverage service
- Bartending service
- No kitchen or bathroom at the Park City Museum (public restrooms are available next door)
- Dinnerware and décor
- Floral arrangements
- Live music and photography
No. Please bring your own hotspot or make prior arrangements with the Executive Director.
Yes. The rental contract includes the terms for alcohol service. Alcohol must be served by a licensed bartender — our pre-approved caterers can provide this service. Any state or city required permits must also be provided prior to the event.
You may choose from our list of approved caterers for food and beverage service. Please contact the Executive Director for the list of approved caterers and regarding other approved sub-contractors and professionals.
We cannot allow home-prepared food, beverages, or desserts on-site. Many of our caterers will prepare client-requested recipes.
Yes. We cannot allow open flames (including live candles), potted plants, balloons, birds, butterflies, loose sand, feathers, or glitter. Any similarly pervasive materials are prohibited. Nothing may be affixed to the walls, windows, or floors. Please contact the Executive Director to discuss specific items you would like to bring to your event.
Yes. Acoustic and not plugged in musicians are allowed.
Paid parking is available in China Bridge parking garage for events at the Park City Museum. Plenty of free parking is available at the Education & Collections Center in Lot C or across the street in Lot J.
Yes. The both buildings are ADA accessible in all regards.Â
