Oral Histories

The Park City Museum is committed to preserving the memories of its residents through recording and transcribing oral histories. Oral history is a unique tool for researchers and historians to understand how Park City is remembered through personal stories and gain insights into experiences covered during the oral history interview.

We would love to hear stories and history from your time in Park City. Your memories are a valuable resource for understanding Park City’s past and present. If you are interested in sitting down for an oral history interview, please contact our Research Coordinator. Upon gauging your interest, we will schedule a time to meet and discuss details and stories before recording the oral history interview. The recording will be preserved and a transcript of the interview will be included in the Hal Compton Research Library. At the interview, you will be asked to fill out this form.
